Sometimes things can seem peaceful, then explode with excitement, like a volcano. Last Sunday Grandpa and I were sleeping peacefully with the window open. Suddenly, we heard the dogs running outside with excitement, and then there was a terrible smell...SKUNK!! Coco came into the bedroom with his head hanging down. A skunk had sprayed him on his head. Then Grandpa went to get Kaylo from outside, and the skunk had sprayed him all over too (Kaylo, not Grandpa). Coco rubbed his eyes and head on our bed, and then everything smelled like skunk for a week. The dogs have had many baths. It was an explosive, exciting, and smelly night. We have had enough excitement for this week. :-) Now we just want to read about exciting things, like your blog on volcanoes. Love, Nonna Terry.

... Nature is stronger than us.
A presto,
